Prestige/Luxury: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, McLaren, Maserati, Lotus (very low ground clearance, expensive paint, high risk of damage). Classic (vintage): Jaguar E-Type, MG, Triumph, Austin Healey, Morris Minor, Mini, Land Rover Series (fragile paint, chrome trim, rust concerns, often non-runner). American classic: Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, Dodge Challenger (large size, heavy weight). Modern exotic: McLaren Senna, newer Ferrari/Lamborghini (extremely low ground clearance, carbon fibre bodywork, incredible value). Restoration project: any classic car in non-running condition.

Our Specialist Equipment For Prestige & Classic Cars

Low loader (low angle): Angled bed reduces loading slope. Prevents scraping front bumper or splitter on low cars (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Lotus, classic sports cars).

Soft straps (fabric): Secure the car without scratching paint. Metal hooks or chains will damage paint and chrome. We use padded fabric straps with plastic-coated hooks. Never metal on paint.

Extended ramps: For extremely low cars. Some prestige cars are so low that even a low loader needs extended ramps. We have them.

Wheel skates (dollies): For non-running cars with seized wheels. Classic restoration projects often don't roll. We have skates for all four wheels.

Covered transport (enclosed trailer): Fully enclosed trailer protects from weather and debris. Available for very high value cars (limited availability – call to check). Protects from rain, sun, road salt, stone chips.

Multiple tie-down points: Secure from 4-6 points (not just wheels). Prevents any movement during transport. Essential for cars with delicate suspension.

Walkaround video (detailed): Film every panel, wheel, chrome trim. Proves condition before loading. Critical for insurance and owner peace of mind.

Soft Straps vs Metal Straps – Why It Matters For Paint And Chrome

We use soft straps exclusively for prestige and classic cars. Never metal hooks near paint or chrome.

Where we strap prestige and classic cars: ✅ Over tyres – using over-the-tyre straps (no metal near bodywork). ✅ Through wheels – soft straps through alloy spokes (coated hooks). ✅ Under frame – soft straps around chassis rails (coated hooks). ❌ Never over bodywork – never over wings, doors, or roof. ❌ Never over chrome – never over chrome bumpers or trim.

⚠️ We will NOT strap your car in a way that could damage it. Even if it takes longer. Even if you're in a hurry. Your car is worth the extra time.

Covered Transport (Enclosed Trailer) – For Very High Value Cars

What is covered transport? A fully enclosed trailer (like a moving van for cars). Protects from weather (rain, sun, snow, hail), road debris (stone chips, salt, grit), and prying eyes (security).

When to choose covered transport: Car value under £30,000 – low loader (open) is fine. £30,000-£100,000 – low loader or covered (your choice). £100,000-£250,000 – covered recommended. Over £250,000 – covered essential. Concours classic (immaculate paint) – covered essential. Restoration project (unpainted) – open is fine.
